I’ll be the first to say that I’m not perfect. I believe the thing i use to my advantage is something as basic as speaking what’s on my mind and block out all the imperfections in my mind and focus on my strengths. The thing personally i think is my strength is even though epilepsy is a serious topic.
I just make jokes about myself and don’t take it serious. Obviously i talk properly about the subject but let’s use and example here, One time i fell and fractured my cheekbone falling outside. This kind of proves how serious i take it, 10 minutes after falling i actually took a selfie of my face and was joking about it
There are some people who become slightly confused with the humour and reaction of something that can have serious effects. The reason i always use humour towards to topic is to get people who do struggle with the topic to open up and develop a positive attitude towards it.
In life i’ve never been perfect at everything but, i’m not interesting in the things i’ve struggled with. I focus on purely on what i want to achieve not what i know i find difficult. In my list of imperfections there’s nothing that is actually needed in my future.
Yes there is a long list of imperfections. I’m sure everyone reading is not perfect at everything but you know what you want to achieve in life. The only thing I want to achieve in life is just one thing, which is to change the perspective of epilepsy and change peoples lives for the better, only for a better and more positive tomorrow.
