Today, i’m going to speak to everyone about do all wounds heal over time, well i’ve thought about this question a lot, because people with epilepsy such as myself or any form of disability, we all get pushed around growing up weather it is physical or verbal abuse.
I had loads of jokes thrown my way and people trying pick on me but i’m not going to brag about this or feel proud about it, but those people who believed they could push me around normally got hit by me or when it came down to doing stuff in P.E i would target them and try hurt them the best i could.
Which is surrendering self control, thinking about it now it was a stupid thing to do because by winding me up they were winning. Over time the comments will wash out of your mind like footprints in the sand. They stay there for a while but slowly disappear.
That’s why i use humour which i have explained in previous posts, any comments or jokes people made in the past or happen on the odd occasion just make me laugh which i also explained that is called “Self-Enhancing Humour” laughing everything off yes is my way of coping as well but in general it’s just funny trying to watch them frustrate or wind me up, Don’t let them win….Just laugh and trust me it does help the situation
