It’s Incredibly frustrating when you hear people say “I know how you feel” when first of all it’s physically impossible to know how i feel and secondly when the person who says that to me has no experience of epilepsy.
After everything i’ve dealt with in my life, i know and i understand people say that as a awkward , response and they use in a way use it to comfort you in a conversation. I understand they’re only trying to help but they get nowhere. There was someone who said to me “Oh i get migraines” they tried to compare it to them.
So i asked do you even know what a seizure or absense even feels like? He responded no i don’t , i was like exactly. So when i try to explain how much it takes it out of me, he doesn’t actually understand and when i end up falling asleep he said get up you can’t be falling asleep. So i believe don’t try and judge someone for the effects of seizures if you don’t understand the effects of them.

This is the perfect blog for anyone who wishes to find out about this topic. You understand so much its almost hard to argue with you (not that I actually would want toÖHaHa). You definitely put a brand new spin on a topic that has been discussed for many years. Excellent stuff, just great!
