It’s actually very difficult to describe so I’ll try my best , after a absence seizure or a big seizure also known as “A Tonic-Clonic” seizure. where you pretty much it causes them to become unconscious, which is the best way to describe it. After I’ve had absence seizures which mine usually last anything from five seconds to two minutes which i know doesn’t sound that long but in fact.

One i had in a morning lasted around 10 seconds at around 10am/10:30am and I couldn’t tell you what I ate for my breakfast , one time i left my phone on my desk in my room and I’m downstairs looking around for it, I got my mum to ring it and when I found it I was thinking “How did it get there” , sometimes I don’t even remember waking up or how I ended up downstairs.

One of the really stage things is my mum and dad said I just carry on the conversation like nothing has happened, they’ve asked me “You ok?” I’m like “Yea why?” The headache you have once you’ve zoned back in feels like you’ve been hit by a freight train.

When I’ve had a big drop seizure “Tonic-Clonic” i was out walking with my mum and little sister and i fell outside a garage forecourt when I fractured my right cheekbone , the only bit remember was opening my eyes thinking “Why am I on my side , and why are there ambulances and paramedics here?” I quickly sat up. One grabbed hold of me telling me to slow down.

That’s all I remember , I don’t remember leaving the house or how long we had been out for. I spent one night in hospital but the really strange thing is I kept tapping my cheekbone and couldn’t feel anything. My dad told me because he was there the whole time I was in resus for 11 hours , when they tried to x-ray my face a had a big seizure falling off the table , took five doctors to hold me down. I didn’t know about any of that , just remember waking up with tube in my left hand but feeling perfectly fine. They had to keep me in hospital for one night to keep an eye on me. Some people don’t Realise how scary these seizures can actually be
